Hi All, I was in Mt Sterling, Kentucky on the 12th to deliver a load that I picked up in Olive Branch, Mississippi and then picked up a load there on the 13th that goes to Lake Land, Florida on the 15th at 6am. It's just outside of Tampa on the gulf side. I will then run over to Plant City, Florida and pick up a load that goes to Council Bluff, Iowa. I just hope that the Blue Angels don't barn storm me again like they did the last time I was in FL. I'm in Conley, Georgia right now at our terminal getting some things fixed on the truck and a full oil service. They are putting a new transponder on my truck due to tracking problems. Earlier this week it showed me in Olive Branch, MS at noon and at 12:14 it showed me in Memphis, TN. and at 12:16 it showed me in Springfield, IL. This has been a long going battle with our safety department because it's always "driver error", but when she started acting up, I got them on the phone and they pulled me up and watched me move all over the country with my key in the off position. Needles to say, I was told to make a B line to our shop in Georgia. It's really not that big of a deal, but with electronic log books I need to stay legal for the DOT inspectors. I think that as long as I'm in Florida, I should take the time to look into some rest homes for me now that I'm 50. Whoever said that 50 is the new 30 is my hero. I feel good, I look good, but my eyes are bad and with the creek in my back, I can't see myself in the mirror, so I will let you decide on that one. I will be sending some new pics soon. I will be in Phoenix around the 28th for 3 or 4 days. I'm really looking forward to seeing Kerry and the Southwest kids and grand kids. So far I've not had any real bad weather yet. I guess I will see what happens on my way to Iowa.
