Hi All, As most of you know, We were in Phoenix for 3-1/2 days. It was nice to get out of the truck and have some home cooking after a month of non-stop pavement pounding. Over 13 thousand miles in 30 days. It's not easy to be a freight relocation specialist. (Truck Driver)Kerry is staying in Phoenix this trip , so I'm by myself again. I will miss her company everyday and already do and it's only been a day. I picked up a load in Tollison, AZ. that goes to 2 stops in Utah. I left phoenix at 9:30 pm and drove 360 miles to Kanab, Utah and parked at 5:30 am. I still have 350 miles to go to be at my first stop 0n the 18th at 12:30 am outside of Ogden, UT. Number 2 stop at 4:00 am outside of SLC. and then to a meeting in Salt Lake City at 2:00 pm. Thank goodness for coffee! I should be fine, I got 2.5 hours of sleep last night. UGG!

Hi All,
Well it's 9-16-09 and I'm getting ready to pull out of Phoenix and go to a meeting in Salt Lake City, UT. I will pick up a load in Tollison, AZ and take it to Utah. It's a mandatory safety meeting for all drivers. Kerry is going to stay in Phoenix this trip to tie up some loose ends. I lose my wife, my trip planner and my photographer. I will try to keep up on the blog, but you might see a lot of pictures shot through bug splattered glass. It might be a nice touch.

We ran into another old friend in Arkansas. We did not have time to stop and enjoy, but it did bring back our childhoods. Kerry used to eat at one in Lansing, IL. and I would eat at one in Phoenix, AZ. Photo is from the website

Hi All, We made it to Phoenix, AZ. last night. I will stay here until Wednesday and Kerry is going to stay here for a bit. We have been all over the USA on this last outing. We have traveled from Oregon to New Jersey and everywhere in between. We traveled over 13 thousand miles this month with only one 34 hour break. (reset) The weather has been pretty nice in general, but winter is coming and that means snow, ice and blizzards. I should have some nice pictures of fall colors across the states soon.
