It's not everyday that you get to drive through the Appalachian Mountains. We drove through 5 or 6 tunnels that range from 1/2 mile to 2 1/2 miles long.

Travels across PA

Today we are in Carlisle, PA. We had to stop at a Petro's truck stop to get an oil & filter service. We will drive to New Jersey around midnight to pick up a load that comes back to Cranberry, PA. We are suppose to be in Phoenix, AZ. on the 8th, but it looks like it might be the 15th. We will break over 12 thousand miles this month. It feels like only 11 thousand.
Nice state to drive through.

Towns are just cut out of the sides of the hills.

We ran into an old friend in Ohio. Had me a Big Boy Combo extra fries, no salad. It was the same and delicious as ever.
